I unfortunately had to make this card for a friend of mine who recently lost his father. Sympathy cards are always difficulty and a manly card of any kind is never an easy feat. So this is what I came up with. I used urban garden DSP along with basic gray and not quite navy card stock. The image is from SU, inspired by nature. I stamped it in white craft ink then went over it using going gray and bordering blue pastels. I used by new CB folder to do the branches on the gray strips. The sentiment on a window word punchout in baja breeze, is from
there she goes. I also used this card as my entry in to this week's
Sketch and stash challenge. I also used up the last of my black brads, so I need to add that to my list. Have you checked out the new SU catalog yet? It's online at
http://www.stampinup.com/. Feel free to email me with any questions about the catalog:)
