Sunday Sketch and Stamp Halloween!

Happy Halloween everyone!!!!!  My girls are bouncing off the walls to get out there and trick or treat already!  It's going to be a long afternoon!!  Luckily we still have pumpkins to carve and cookies to bake!
We have a great sketch for you over at Sunday Sketch and Stamp created by our own Mandy.
I used Lil Vampire from MelJen at Whimsy Stamps.  The sentiment is a MelJen freebie from her blog. If you need a last minute Halloween card, you can buy the digi and it's yours immediately!!!  The papers are Basic grey eerie. I embellished with flowers, gems and some stitched grosgrain ribbon.

Last minute Halloween

Happy Saturday Everyone!!!  I realized I was a few Halloween cards short, so I whipped up a few to put in the mail yesterday.  Here's one I made using Mummy Bear from MelJen's over at Whimsy.   I wanted a more subtle Halloween card so I decided to use Basic grey papyrus papers.  And I just love this little bear and his little spider friends.  I only used a big bow to embellish, of course it's going in the mail, so not sure if that was the right choice, oh well!

Stamp Something PINK

In honor of the last week of breast cancer awareness month, we'd love to see some pink at Stamp Something this week!!!  I decided to go with this super cute Tilda.  I used Basic grey Eva papers along with some flowers, pearls and ribbon!  The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps.

Adorable new MelJens!

It's Thursday and that means a new MelJen release over at Whimsy!!!  WooHoo! We have 5 new designs today, and they are all fabulous!  I finally decided on fancy little stocking!

I had some SEI papers I bought at the end of last year I wanted to use.  Then I added all kinds of sparkles!  I have stickles, rhinestones, chunky glitter and the paper it's self is glittery as well!

 The sentiment is from Whimsy as well.  The final embellishments are some super thin ribbon from SU, a stocking charm, a felt snowflake and a rose from wild orchid.

Hello all!!!  Still playing catch up after a crazy week!!  Hope to find time soon to be out and about in blog land!!!
I have two cards to share with you today.  The first is a card with just a quote! They sure go together a lot quicker without coloring!!!  The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps.  The papers are from SU and I embellished with some black satin ribbon and pearls.  I also distressed the edges and added stitching.

The second card I created for a friend's baby shower.  The nursery bedding is green and brown with jungle animals , so I thought this monkey was perfect!!  He's from Whimsy Stamps as well as the ticket sentiment.  I colored the monkey with copics and added some stickles to the doodles.  The papers are origins from basic grey.  I added some satin ribbon along with some pearls and one lone flower.  I also added a super cute bootie charm on some hemp.

A whiff of Sunday Sketch and Stamp

Happy Sunday!!!  I hope you are having a great weekend so far.  We were able to see a long time friend get married yesterday so that was fun!!!  And today, I have a Whiff of joy Christmas card to share with you that I created using this fortnight's sketch on Sunday Sketch and Stamp.  I used the Betty and Henry Winter Mice image for this one.  The tree paper is from Whiff of Joy as well, the other is basic grey.  I added some white flocking and chunky glitter to create snow.  I embellished it simply with a few snowflakes, a ribbon and some pearls.  The snowflake border punch is from EK success.  I sprayed the whole card with shimmerz so it has a nice sparkle to it IRL. Hope you can play along!

Halloween

Hi Everyone!!!
 It's a spoooky Halloween challenge at Stamp Something this week.  I went for a little more cute than spooky with this sweet image from Whimsy stamps.  She's a digi and available now, so pop on over and download Anna and you'll be coloring away in no time!!!
I used bunches of basic grey eerie papers along with eggplant and black cardstock.  I then tried to make it a bit girly with rhinestones, satin ribbon, flowers and pearls.  The sentiment is also a digi from whimsy Stamps.  The challenge this week is sponsored by Bunny Zoe with a great prize up for grabs, so join us if you can:)

My card uses the new rubber image Mr. and Mrs. Teddy Claus paired with Jovial papers from basic grey.  I also "got punchy" with my 2 snowflake punches from Martha Stewart, the word window punch and the label punch from SU. I added satin ribbon and a believe charm as well.

Whimsy Sneak Peek!!!

Happy Weekend Everyone!!!  Get ready for a big weekend of Whimsy!  The official date of the Holiday release is tomorrow at noon EST during our hop, but the team will be showing sneak peeks all day!!  I used this fabulous new carousel horse from Crissy Armstrong for this card!  And the sentiment is new Whimsy as well, it's from the new holiday tickets set!  The papers are retired SU with baja breeze and cherry cobbler cardstock.  I added lots of snowflakes, flowers and sparkle to this one!  I also stitched and sponged the edges.

Celebrate!

Hi All!!  Lots of celebration going on this week!  Today we have a new celebration challenge over on Stamp Something and two new team members!  Then I have 3 family birthdays and my anniversary this week!  Lots of celebrating and probably lots of cake too!
Our sponsor is sweet and sassy and I used the super cute image, Cocoa's Gift for my card.  I all used the Whimsy Sentiment stamp as it fit perfectly with the theme. 
I have no idea what kind of papers these are as I received them in a swap, but boy do I love them!!!  The gold layer is shiny and has  spots of glitter.  I paper pieced the present then colored the little guy with copics.  Added some flowers, pearls and ribbon and it was good to go!  I also stitched around the main image.
