Something with wings

The challenge at Stamp Something this week is to use things with wings.  I chose this new Baby Stork from Meljen Designs available at Whimsy Stamps.  My cousin just had a sweet little baby boy so this image was perfect!  The papers are MME, fine and dandy.  The sentiment is whimsy as well.  I embellished with buttons, some satin ribbon and stickles.

Sunday Sketch and Stamp 2nd Birthday Blog Hop and Birthday Candy!!!

Happy Easter

Hello:)  I don't know about you, but I always find that Easter has a way of sneaking up on me.  One minute I think I'm right on track, the next minute I have 8 cards left to make and less than a week to do so!  So here's one I came up with this weekend.  It used a new release from MelJen Designs available at Whimsy Stamps.  I just love her little trinkets!!  The sentiment is Whimsy as well, it is from last year.  The papers are Basic Grey, Olivia.  I also added a pink satin bow, some wild orchid flowers, a few pearls and some stickles!!  I also embossed the pink layer with the swiss dots CB folder.  Ok back to my Easter cards!!

Last Sneak Peek before the hop!!!!

Sunday Sketch and Stamp baby Card!

It's time for another fabulous sketch at Sunday Sketch and Stamp!!  I used this one to make a welcome baby card for my new little nephew!  I turned the sketch on its side for this one.  The buggy is from SU's buggies and booties.  I then masked it and stamped Whimsy Stamp's Life defined on top of it.  The papers are SU Parisian Breeze and the sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps too!  I then added a big ol bow and a little diaper pin charm which is tough to see in the photo.  Here's a little pic of my nephew with his card:)
