Happy Saturday Everyone!!! I realized I was a few Halloween cards short, so I whipped up a few to put in the mail yesterday. Here's one I made using Mummy Bear from MelJen's over at Whimsy. I wanted a more subtle Halloween card so I decided to use Basic grey papyrus papers. And I just love this little bear and his little spider friends. I only used a big bow to embellish, of course it's going in the mail, so not sure if that was the right choice, oh well!

I have two cards to share with you today. The first is a card with just a quote! They sure go together a lot quicker without coloring!!! The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps. The papers are from SU and I embellished with some black satin ribbon and pearls. I also distressed the edges and added stitching.

The second card I created for a friend's baby shower. The nursery bedding is green and brown with jungle animals , so I thought this monkey was perfect!! He's from Whimsy Stamps as well as the ticket sentiment. I colored the monkey with copics and added some stickles to the doodles. The papers are origins from basic grey. I added some satin ribbon along with some pearls and one lone flower. I also added a super cute bootie charm on some hemp.

Lots of fun and prizes as usual
This week I am showcasing a super cute Prairie Fairy image. I had to make a thank you not for a friend who gave my daughter some ballet hand me downs and this cutie was perfect!!!!!
I used kioshi papers and some new super wide pink grosgrain from SU. I added stickles to her tu tu and my spica pen to her hair for lots of fun glitter!!! I also added some yummy new flowers from Wild Orchid. I added a teeny pearl to her earring too.
Have a great weekend. Things here are beyond hectic as I am getting ready for a craft fair on Saturday, hopefully things will soon be back to normal I'll be around to visit you all!!!!
Happy Sunday!!! I hope you are having a great weekend so far. We were able to see a long time friend get married yesterday so that was fun!!! And today, I have a Whiff of joy Christmas card to share with you that I created using this fortnight's sketch on Sunday Sketch and Stamp. I used the Betty and Henry Winter Mice image for this one. The tree paper is from Whiff of Joy as well, the other is basic grey. I added some white flocking and chunky glitter to create snow. I embellished it simply with a few snowflakes, a ribbon and some pearls. The snowflake border punch is from EK success. I sprayed the whole card with shimmerz so it has a nice sparkle to it IRL. Hope you can play along!

Hello! I hope you are having a wonderful week so far. It is pouring buckets here, a perfect day for lots of stamping!!! I have a bit of a strange mix of cards for you today. The first is a welcome baby card for my cousin's daughter. I pulled out my all time favorite baby set for this one, SU's buggies and booties. I stamped the stork image and then just colored a shadow, beak and blanket. I sponged, stitched and distressed the edges. I embossed the circle layer with my swirls CB folder. I then added lots of girly pearls, flowers, ribbon and a lovely bootie charm. The papers are from the my mind's eye girl pack.

This next card uses one of MelJen's new Whimsy stamps images and Ann Vento's new digi Halloween tickets. I don't like to eat candy corns AT ALL, but boy do I just think they are the cutest little guys!! I used K&Co seasonal paper for this one, which I really like but always seem to have a hard time with. I sprayed the whole thing with shimmer spritz so it has a nice little sparkle IRL. The boo punch is from Martha Stewart. Then I added lots of buttons and some rhinestones.

The papers are retired SU with baja breeze and cherry cobbler cardstock. I added lots of snowflakes, flowers and sparkle to this one! I also stitched and sponged the edges.

Hi All!! Lots of celebration going on this week! Today we have a new celebration challenge over on Stamp Something and two new team members! Then I have 3 family birthdays and my anniversary this week! Lots of celebrating and probably lots of cake too!
Our sponsor is sweet and sassy and I used the super cute image, Cocoa's Gift for my card. I all used the Whimsy Sentiment stamp as it fit perfectly with the theme.
I have no idea what kind of papers these are as I received them in a swap, but boy do I love them!!! The gold layer is shiny and has spots of glitter. I paper pieced the present then colored the little guy with copics. Added some flowers, pearls and ribbon and it was good to go! I also stitched around the main image.
If you have a chance pop on over and play along! Also check out the Whimsy site when you can, there are so many new digi and rubber images being released this week it's unbelievable!!!! Today there is a new MelJen design that is little candy corn guys!! My favorite!!!
