Stamp Something and a fun Christmas card!

Well you can tell it's time for the Christmas crunch, I am running late with everything around here!!!!
I am finally able to post my Stamp Something card and another fun card for you!

This first card uses Dancer from MelJen Designs From Whimsy Stamps.  I made this card for my daughter's ballet teacher so the image was perfect!!!  I also used my custom stamp designed by raindrop echo designs at Whimsy for the sentiment.  The papers are Basic grey.  I added some lace, gems, ribbon and a few poinsettias along with a deer charm.
Challenges...
Friday Sketchers....Sketch
Sentimental Sundays...Inspired by song(rudolph)
Bee crafty...rough around the edges
Dutch Dare...winter

The second card is for stamp something this week.
We wanted to see a tag or a pocket.  My tag is under the cute little WOJ bear and is big enough to be used as a bookmark.  This one is for my daughter's teacher, so I thought a bookmark would be handy.  I colored the little gal with copics then set her on a pile of twinklets.  I added bunches of ribbon and sparkly details too!  The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps holiday labels.  Finally I added a felt snowflake and some flowers!
Challenges....
Whiff of Joy...Sketch
Paper Sundaes...Cut it out
Stampin for the weekend...Christmas
Fussy and fancy...snow
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Kenny K

Whimsy Stamps has some fab news to share with you today - we have a new rubber artist joining our team.... KENNY KIERNAN!

As many of you will know, Kenny K is currently a digital stamp artist (amongst many other things) and although Whimsy will not be carrying any Kenny K digis, we are making some of Kenny's existing designs into rubber and then hopefully adding some new designs along the line that will be exclusive to the Whimsy rubber collection!

So to celebrate this wonderful new venture, the Whimsy Stamps DT plus our fab special Whimsy guests Elaine Hughes, Deb, and Janna, are holding a BLOG HOP to showcase the EIGHT images that are being made into rubber:

All That
Devilish Donna
Download Diva
Kitty Katastrophe
Luscious Linda
Movie Star
Rock Chick
Troublemaker

Remember that Whimsy Stamps will be carrying the rubber versions of these stamps only. Kenny K will continue to offer the digital versions in his store. The rubber stamps are available to PRE-ORDER from today from the Whimsy store, and will start shipping on the 27th, right after the holidays!

Our super-talented Ann (Raindrop Echo Designs) has designed some wonderful digital sentiments that work fabulously with these images - thank you Ann! These are also being released today!

If you would like to participate in the hop and you didn't arrive here from DEB's blog, please CLICK HERE to return to the beginning of the hop at Simonne's blog.

The hop starts today (Thursday December 16th at noon EST) and ends on Thursday December 23rd at noon EST.

For this hop we have 4 different prize draws! The grand prize of ALL 8 of the new release rubber stamps is being hosted by Denise at the very end of the hop, but there are also 3 mini candy stops throughout the hop! I'm not going to tell you where they are, so you'll just have to keep on hopping to find them! *wink* [Winners will be announced on December 23rd after the hop ends - what a wonderful Christmas present for those lucky hoppers!]
But...one of them is RIGHT HERE!!!!!!  Please leave your name in the linky for your chance at 2 Kenny K images of your choice!!!!!

For my blog hop creation I used .......Download Diva.  There are a few other Whimsy Stamps on there too.  Ann's cool new sentiments and the new music notes background!  The papers are from Basic grey.  I also added some gold spica highlights to her hair so she's sparkly IRL, not so much in the photo though:(

So now it's time for you to continue the hop by hopping on over to ELAINE's blog and prepare to be blown away by her fabulous creation!

Finally, here is a complete blog hop list in hopping order:

Thank you so much for hopping with us today and I hope you enjoy this exciting new release!

Sunday Sketch and Stamp

Happy Monday Everyone!!!  I'm a day late on my post this week as we had my daughter's Christmas craft party yesterday.  And WOW 6 six year olds take a lot out of you!
This sketch was perfect for a nice simple card.  I had to whip one up as I was one card short at the last minute and it was exactly what I needed.
I used the new stamp from Whimsy Stamps, Valerie's Gift, for this one.  What a cutie!  The sentiment is Whimsy as well, it is the holiday seals.  I embellished with some lace, thin taffeta, prima poinsettias, stitching, flocking a few stickles and some pearls.  I also put a punch out from the Winter Jewels die from Whimsy behind my poinsettia.

Stamp Something:)

Hi everyone!  Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.  I've been playing catch up all week from our vacation.  I think I'm almost there, so more time for crafting soon I hope!!!
This is my first card back, it's for the Stamp Something Christmas color challenge!  I love using pink and green for Christmas, so I went with that.  The papers are from eskimo Kisses from basic grey.  The image is a new digi release from MelJen over at Whimsy Stamps.  It's called Caroling Snowmen.  It is also available as a colored digi image, so if you're running tight on time for you Christmas cards, that might be the way to go!!!
The sentiment is from Whimsy too, Holiday postmarks.
Be sure to check out the rest of the team, their projects are fabulous as usual!
