Last Karen's Doodle Challenge

This is the last week for the Karen's Doodles US challenge!  I can't believe how fast these past few months have gone!!  After this week, Karen will be combining her different challenge blogs into one, and I can't wait to play along!  I had such a fun time working with Karen's images.
But for this week we are doing a joint challenge with all the other Karen challenge blogs, and they'd like to see white.
You can color in your image, but other than that white, white, white!
I used textured and shimmery white CS, which I ran thru my snowflakes folder on my CB.  I colored Waving Santa with copics and used fun flock for his beard and cuffs.  I did at a bit of silver for some sparkle with stickles and rhinestones, hope that's OK!  Finally I added some felt snowflakes and flowers.
The sentiment is a fav of mine from whimsy stamps.
Hope you have fun with this one!

Karen's Doodles #20

HI everyone!  Hope you had a fabulous weekend!   It was hot and busy here, which pretty much has been the story of this summer!!!!
I have a friend at work who is expecting her first child.  She's at about the halfway point now of her pregnancy so I thought a fun card was in order to let her know I was thinking of her!!!  I went with the image the question from Karen's doodles.
The challenge for Karen's US challenge is a sketch this week, so that worked out perfectly.  The papers are basic grey, green at heart.  And I added some stitching.  I think my sewing machine is officially broken though, so this may be my last stitched card for awhile :(
I also distressed the edges and added some satin ribbon from SU.  Don't forget to check out the rest of the gals and come on and join us if you can this week!

I used Bella blue papers along with primas and black pearls for this one.  I also distressed the edges and added some soft suede ribbon.

Karen's Doodles #10

Wow what a weekend!!!  Although I had a fabulous time in Maine, it feels good to be home!!  I met Lindsay from Lindsay's stamp stuff while in Maine and we hit the mother load of deals at some craft stores!!!  I got a TON of cuttlebug folders for 2.00$ and so yummy papers!  And some flocking too, which I'm very excited to use!!!
Now onto today's card!  It's a birthday challenge this week at Karen's Doodles US challenge!!  Which is great because I have a lot of birthdays this month!!!  I used a new image from Karen's Doodles called Fisher dad and daughter!  There is also a dad/son image and  you can layer them if you need more kids!
I used some new papers from gcd which are super shimmery.  I went for the masculine embellies of twine, eyelets and buttons.  I made the image nice and big so it was the focal point of the card.  I find that works well on masculine cards so I don't have room for flowers LOL!
