Christmas with Sunday Sketch and Stamp!

So here it is my first Christmas card of 2011!!!!  I used this fabulous digi sentiment for Whimsy Stamps and paper from Basic Grey.  The flowers are poinsettias from prima.  I also distressed the edges and added some gold stickles.  There are also a few pearls and rhinestones scattered about.  SSS is now weekly, so join us this week if you can!

What a whirlwind of a day yesterday was!  We had a tea party birthday for 16 7-year old girls!!!  Fun day,but no time for stamping that's for sure!!!!

Well Happy belated Mother's Day to all the moms out there!!  We had a fun filled day here, so no computer time to put up this week's Sunday Sketch and stamp post.  So here it is now!!
I used a new digi image designed by Crissy Armstrong for Whimsy Stamps.  This is courageous Carl!!  What a fun little guy he is!  The sentiment mini posts are from Whimsy as well.  The paper is some from my stash that I thought worked great with this image.

Sunday Sketch and Stamp baby Card!

It's time for another fabulous sketch at Sunday Sketch and Stamp!!  I used this one to make a welcome baby card for my new little nephew!  I turned the sketch on its side for this one.  The buggy is from SU's buggies and booties.  I then masked it and stamped Whimsy Stamp's Life defined on top of it.  The papers are SU Parisian Breeze and the sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps too!  I then added a big ol bow and a little diaper pin charm which is tough to see in the photo.  Here's a little pic of my nephew with his card:)

Sunday Sketch and Stamp

hello!!!  The SSS site was having technical difficulties, so the challenge is a bit late this week.  What a fun sketch!!!  I made a card for my brand new niece, Sophia.  The carriage is from an old SU set, buggies and booties, which is one of my all time favorites.  I then masked the carriage and stamped Life Defined from Whimsy Stamps over it.  The ribbon is the seam binding from SU which I crinkled with shimmer spritz.  The papers are from MME's girl pack.  I also added some distressed glitter to the edges and distressed them with scissors.  The flowers are from Wild Orchids.

Sunday Sketch and Stamp Birthday!

Hi everyone!!  Well old man winter is back dropping a few more inches of snow!  Enough is enough old man!
It's time for another challenge at Sunday sketch and stamp though, so that' a great way to beat the snow!
 I made this card for my daughter's friend.  His party is tomorrow and this is her first school friend party!  Big day!
I used gift horse from Crissy's Digis available from Whimsy Stamps.  The sentiment is from Whimsy too it's from the birthday letter seals set.
The papers are from Basic grey max and whiskers pack.  I used the presents border punch from Martha Stewart along the side.  I embellished with some buttons and hemp twine.  I made a little lasso and clipped it on as well.  Finally, I added just a bit of orange stickles for a hint of sparkle.

Sunday Sketch and Stamp!

Hi everyone!!!
Here's a fun little Valentine I created for the Sunday Sketch and Stamp Challenge this week!  I used the love you mice from Whimsy Stamps, an oldie but goodie!!  I love these little guys!  I used some Martha Stewart Valentine paper.  The bottom layer I embossed with my CB.  Finally I added some flowers, taffeta ribbon and rhinestones!!  I rotated the sketch to fit the image a bit better!  Have fun with this one!!

Sunday Sketch and Stamp

 Good morning!!!!  It;s the last day of vacation here and I'm ready for things to settle down and return to normal!!!!  These past few weeks have been fun, but boy I need a break!
I have 2 cards to share with you today..one is for Sunday Sketch and Stamp and the other is for the Digi Bells DT.

I just loved the sketch this week at Sunday Sketch and Stamp!!  I used this super sweet image from Elizabeth Bell along with Curio Basic grey papers.  I distressed all the edges with scissors and ink.  I also added lots of stickles!  The sentiment is from Whimsy stamps, I gave it some sparkles too.  Finally I added a few teeny tiny pearls to the edges.  Please pop on over and play along when you can:)

 This card I made using the sketch provided by the Dt call.  I used one of my favorite Elizabeth Bell images from Whiff of Joy.  It's a non-traditional Valentine and I am happy to be crossing those of my list already as it will be here before we know it!!!!  The sentiment is from Whimsy stamps.  I added 3 layers of ribbons a wide grosgrain, a medium organza and a tiny satin.  I'm still excited about all my new stickles, so I added a bunch of sparkle!  Finally I added some pearls and flowers.

Happy Monday Everyone!!!  I'm a day late on my post this week as we had my daughter's Christmas craft party yesterday.  And WOW 6 six year olds take a lot out of you!
This sketch was perfect for a nice simple card.  I had to whip one up as I was one card short at the last minute and it was exactly what I needed.
I used the new stamp from Whimsy Stamps, Valerie's Gift, for this one.  What a cutie!  The sentiment is Whimsy as well, it is the holiday seals.  I embellished with some lace, thin taffeta, prima poinsettias, stitching, flocking a few stickles and some pearls.  I also put a punch out from the Winter Jewels die from Whimsy behind my poinsettia.

Happy Sunday!!!  Hope you are enjoying the weekend, we are spending the day blowing all the leaves off the yard now that they have finally all fallen!  And boy are there a ton!
I have a Christmas card for you today!  Which is pretty much all I am making at this point and loving every minute of it!!!!
I used chilly bun bun fairy, a new RUBBER stamps available at Whimsy Stamps from MelJen Designs!!  The sentiment is also Whimsy is the new Winter Letter Seals which is on preorder until the 19th!
The papers are Basic grey Eskimo kisses.  I added lots of glitter and rhinestones to this one.  I also embossed the circle with the swirls folder from CB.  I added some super wide pink grosgrain ribbon too.

Sunday Sketch and Stamp Halloween!

Happy Halloween everyone!!!!!  My girls are bouncing off the walls to get out there and trick or treat already!  It's going to be a long afternoon!!  Luckily we still have pumpkins to carve and cookies to bake!

A whiff of Sunday Sketch and Stamp

Happy Sunday!!!  I hope you are having a great weekend so far.  We were able to see a long time friend get married yesterday so that was fun!!!  And today, I have a Whiff of joy Christmas card to share with you that I created using this fortnight's sketch on Sunday Sketch and Stamp.  I used the Betty and Henry Winter Mice image for this one.  The tree paper is from Whiff of Joy as well, the other is basic grey.  I added some white flocking and chunky glitter to create snow.  I embellished it simply with a few snowflakes, a ribbon and some pearls.  The snowflake border punch is from EK success.  I sprayed the whole card with shimmerz so it has a nice sparkle to it IRL. Hope you can play along!

Sunday Sketch and Stamp and a Birthday Card

Hi All!!

Happy Monday!  I have two cards for you today.  The first is my Sunday Sketch and Stamp Card a day late. We had a crazy weekend and stamping was on hold for a bit, but back on schedule now!

So this sketch was created by Ger, cute huh?  On sponsor is my Favorite Things, who generously donated a few cute images for us to play with.  I chose these holiday owls.  I used some My Mind's Eye papers along with pink pirouette and espresso card stock.  I used my MS snowflake border, snowflake and holly leaf punches on this one.  Along with my 3 SU oval punches.  I also embossed the pink circle with my CB snowflakes folder.    Finally I added some ribbon, flowers and lots of stickles!  The sentiment is from SU.

My niece turned two this weekend, part of why we were so busy, and had her turtle party yesterday!  This is the card I created for her.  This absolutely adorable turtle is from MelJen Designs and available at Whimsy stamps.  **Which is up and running after some server trouble last week.  SO head on over and see what's new!**  The sentiment is from Whimsy as well.  The papers are basic grey.  I stitched the edges, added some flowers and a fun polka dot ribbon along with stickles to finish up this card.  I also used my pinking hearts border pinch from SU and my MS branch punch.

My Sketch on Sunday Sketch and Stamp

That's right, here is my first sketch ever for Sunday Sketch and Stamp!  I liked it and I hope you do too!!!  We also have a fun new look over at SSS, so pop on by when you have a chance:)

Sunday Sketch and Stamp

Hi all!!  I hope you are enjoying this weekend!!!  We are having perfect weather and had a bit of time yesterday just to sit outside and enjoy it!  We hope to do the same today as well but first I have a card to share with you!
We have another fabulous sketch over at Sunday sketch and stamp!  Claire designed this fun sketch for us! 
I used 2 Whiff of joy images.  First is Melinda with Bouquet which I colored with copics.  The I added fun flock to her flowers.  I'm not overly crazy with how they came out, I think I may add more glue and flock and see what happens.  I also used fall grass, which I think the flock looks a lot better on, oh well!

The papers are from SEI and have a hint of shimmer and glitter to them.  The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps.  I also added some stickles to Melinda's wings.

Happy Sunday!!!!  Hope your weekend is going well.  My husband and kiddos have a bunch of surprise birthday fun up their sleeves today, so I have no idea what my day has in store for me!
