Last Pixie Cottage DT card and a Whimsy Sneak Peek with a PRIZE

Hi All!

Lots of DT stuff for you today.  The first thing is my last card on the Pixie Cottage DT.  I can not believe how fast my time there went WOW!!  I had such a blast with all the gals and the gorgeous images!!  I'll keep inking them up for sure!!  I used Pumpkin Fairy Hannah by Sandra Hammer I just love this image!  I paired it with some me and my bog ideas papers and espresso and pumpkin card stock.  The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps and worked perfectly for the sketch.  I also added some flowers, buttons, ribbon, hemp and a pin.  AS a finishing touch I added stickles to her wings and wand and crystal effects to the pumpkins.
Challenges....
Paper Sundaes...things with wings
Everybody art...friends
Stamp, Scrap, doodle.....stitching
Totally papercrafts...magic
delightful sketches...make it sparkle

Next is a sneak peek at a card I made using 2 stamps from the upcoming Whimsy release!!  You're going to be amazed when you see all these gorgeous stamps!!  WOW WOW WOW is all I can say! OK here's the peek.....In honor of the release Denise thought it might be fun to play a little game while also giving you a sneak peek at one of the new stamps! We are going to call this game "Guess The Stamp?" And all you need to do is leave a comment with your guess as to what you think the image is on this card could possibly be.
The first person to guess correctly will win this stamp. Now I know this is going to be a little tricky, so you don't have to guess exactly, but whoever is closest first will win.  And, I will give you a hint....

This image was drawn by Crissy Armstrong and it fits our holiday/winter themed release.

To enter, please leave a comment in the comment section with your guess. The card and image will be revealed on Saturday this week, when the design team starts sharing sneak peeks at all the new rubber stamps.  I will announce our lucky winner at the same time. So give it a shot, take a chance, and you just might win!

Thanks for playing along and good luck!

Pixie Cottage Thinking of you

Well it's the third rainy day in a row and I couldn't be happier!!!!  We've been so busy getting ready for school, it's helped us stay focused.  And we really needed the rain.  I've also had some time to stamp!!!
I have a pixie cottage challenge card for you today!!!  We have a fabulous sketch by  and then a back to school theme.  As always you can do one, the other or both!  I chose to use the sketch.  I suppose you could stretch it to fit the theme:)
I colored Hannah On A Swing by Sandra Hammer as my image with copics.  The papers are green at heart from basic grey.  I distressed the edges and added some stitching.  The sentiment is from basic grey.  The pearl swirls are from want 2 scrap.  I just want to add a side note about them...I ordered a bunch of reasonably priced pearls from them, and they arrived in 2 days and the shipping was super cheap!!!!!  And they are fantastic!  I also added wild orchid flowers and a fun postmark sentiment from Whimsy Stamps.
Check out the rest of the team for lots of back to school fun!
Challenges....

Pixie Cottage Treat Box

Wow yesterday a door hanger and today a treat box, things are getting crazy over here!!!  I generally only do cards, but it is fun to spice it up everyone once and awhile though.
I just love these little one sheet wonder boxes!!  One sheet of paper, 4 score lines and voila it's done!!  I add jumbo eyelets to the top so I don't even use adhesive to make the box, easy peasy!
I used Apple Hannah by Sandra Hammer for my image, how pretty is she?!?!  The challenge at Pixie cottage is to use the sketch and/or create anything but a card.  I tweaked the sketch by removing the circle, because it just wasn't going to fit.
I colored Hannah with copics and used baja breeze and soft suede card stock along with papers from DCWV's green stack.  I also used soft suede ribbon and that's about it!
Feel free to play along with the sketch the theme or both!
Challenges....
Simon Says...make a gift
Everybody art..in the garden (I guess technically in the orchard, close enough though I think?!?)
Kaboodle..metal

Pixie Cottage Vintage Challenge

Hello everyone.  Hope your week is moving along smoothly.  We have a busy day planned today.  A little yard work, some house work and then a fun afternoon play date!
Today is another fabulous sketch challenge over at Pixie Cottage.  The sketch was designed by none other than   Suzanne Dean from Scrapbitz! !  We also have the added theme of vintage, so you can do one or both elements!!!  I went for both as it was such a lovely sketch.
I used Maisy and Matts Wedding by Di Carubia  as my image.  And I did NOT color it!!  How crazy is that???  When I was putting it together I thought leaving the image just with the ink gave it an older feel so I restrained myself and gave my copics the day off:)  I used inks and my distressing tool to age the card and finished with some stitching.  The papers are from bella blue by SU, one of my new favs for that vintage feel.  The other girls have created some beauties, please pop on over to say hi and enter for your chance to win if you have some free time:)
